Miss Mollee Designs has grown out of Jenny Mapstone’s love of sewing, taught to her by her grandmothers and mother.

“I received a sewing machine that Mum picked up at a clearing sale for my 18th birthday, and my beloved Bernina 830 (straight from the 1970s!) is still in perfect working condition today.”

Jenny creates rope bowls, coasters and mats as well as polymer clay earrings, keychains and necklaces in her home at Narrabri and sells them all online at Miss Mollee Designs.

The business has been her creative outlet between raising 2 beautiful children, working part-time at Nutrien Ag Solutions and supporting husband Dan in his painting business along with his apiaries business too.

Mapstone Apiaries started out as a hobby for husband Dan and quickly grew. One hive became around 60 and the byproduct of owning that many bees meant they were now in the honey business too. Jenny and her husband Dan now supply the honey to businesses around the region, including Mink & Me and Marval Designs.
